With more than 300 employed or contracted physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with expert diagnoses and treatments for more than 30 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multi-disciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai‘i, such as pioneering minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. In 2010, the American Heart Association recognized Straub in three areas of excellence: Coronary Artery Disease (Gold Award), Heart Failure (Silver Award) and Heart Attack (Bronze Award).

Patient S! ervices Administration supports the hospital/clinic leadership! and is responsible for assigned areas within our flagship Clinical Service Line operations. These areas may include quality and financial performance, marketing strategies, human resource planning, medical staff relationships, and research and education initiatives. The Patient Services Administration team works closely with other health care leadership and staff within Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics to ensure that Clinical Service Line operations are running smoothly. They also provide staffing services for the hospitals and serve the facility with customer service, clinical competency and fiscal responsibility.

If you are a sensitive and compassionate health care practitioner, you could be the ideal person for our Wounds, Ostomy & Incontinence Coordinator position. In this role, you will provide direct care and consultative services to patients with wounds, ostomies, incontinence and those in need of tube management, as well as serving as a clini! cal resource for the treatment of these conditions. We are looking for someone considerate and supportive, with outstanding communication and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Location: Straub Clinic & Hospital Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining Exempt: Yes Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Eighteen (18) months recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Medical/Surgical.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing or related field. Completion of a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Education Program. Wounds, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing certification. Two (2) years of wound and ostomy experience. Experience in assessing learning needs of others and developing educational plans to meet ! them.
