- Certification - BLS - Healthcare Provider
- Licensed/Pending - RN - State of Hawaii
- 1 Yr. - Chemo RN experience within last 2 years
- Basic computer knowledge/skill in Microsoft Windows POSITION SUMMARY: The registered professional nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities within the area of the Nurse’s tour of duty. The registered nurse is also responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii. Must obtain a minimum of 24 contact hours of relevant continuing education every 2 years to retain CMC employment. Mandatory CMC training does not count toward these 24 additional contact hours.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: One (1) year of clinical experience in the specialty applying for or a closely related field within the la! st two (2) years.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION! : - Current BLS-Healthcare Provider - biennially. - Basic EKG course (or demonstrated competency) and current ACLS certification is required for ED, ICU, Telemetry, PACU, and ASF. - ACLS, NRP, and EFM required for Labor & Delivery within 6 months of employment. - PALS required for ED, PACU, and ASF within 6 months of employment. - CPMR required for BHS and ED. - Current Hawaii driver’s license in good standing and current No-fault auto insurance required for Home Care. Certification in specialty area is desirable.
