• Graduate - Accredited School of Nursing
• Certification - BLS - Healthcare Provider
• Licensed/Pending - RN - State of Hawaii
• 1 Yr. - RN experience in specialty area within last 2 years!
• Basic computer knowledge/skill in Microsoft Windows

POSITION SUMMARY: The registered professional nurse is responsible for the case management and delivery of coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities within the area of the Nurse’s assignment. The registered nurse is also responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of assigned nursing and home health aide personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii. Must obtain a minimum of 12 contact hours of relevant continuing education a year to retain CMC employment.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: One (1) year of clinical experience in the specialty applying for or a closely related field within the last two (2) years. Basic c! omputer knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Windows ap! plications.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Current BLS-Healthcare provider - biennially. Current driver’s license in good standing. Current No-fault auto insurance.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years-recent acute care, medical/surgical and/or home health care experience preferred.
