LPN Community Relations Director

Description: Oceanside Hawai'i Assisted Living is hiring LPN Community Relations Director right now, this position will be placed in Hawaii. Living Care Lifestyles is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse with knowledge of Long Term Care discharge processes to join its Oceanside Hawaii Assisted Living team as a Community Relations Director in providing Simply the Best' in senior lifestyle communities. Oceanside Hawaii is Oahus premier upscale independent and assisted living community loc! ated on the windward side of the island in Hauula.
As part of the Community Relations team, you will manage all external marketing of the community. While promoting the community's excellent reputation and services to hospitals, physicians, clinics, nursing homes and allied health partners you will work with referral sources and potential residents and their families to achieve and exceed occupancy goals.
Licensed Nurse in good standing with State Licensing Authority
Must have a solid understanding of Long Term Care discharge processes
Previous sales and marketing experience in a senior housing setting preferred
Previous business development experience in a related setting preferred
A passion for working with seniors, providing a commitment to the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service required
Must be able to read, comprehend, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, other staff mem! bers, referral sources, physicians and the general public
! Proficiency in basic computer skills including Word and Excel required, sales & marketing software preferred
Must be able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner in terms of communication, conduct and appearance to referral sources, potential customers, and to the general public
Possess strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to establish effective relationships with networking and referral sources, prospective residents and their family members and staff
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and state officials, referral sources and the general public
Strong documentation and organizational skills; and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks while being self-motivated in order to accommodate fluctuating needs of the community
Must be able to meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential f! unctions) with or without accommodation
Must have clear driving record
Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check
This is a full-time position that offices from home and requires use of your personal vehicle for transportation. Mileage is reimbursed. This position may also require some weekend, holiday and evening hours.
