With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered m! any medical firsts to the community, including West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women’s Center and the state’s first Retina Center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai‘i that utilizes a team triage approach in its Emergency Room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. For five consecutive years, the American Heart Association has recognized the hospital with its Gold Award for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease and its Gold Plus Award for Heart Failure, making it one of only 7 in the nation to receive this distinction.

The Medical/Surgical department provides quality and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more within medical/surgical and oncology services. Our highly trained and profess! ional staff treats people recovering from serious illness, ort! hopedic problems and major surgery. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates patient recovery.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification, completion of one (1) year of a! nursing program, Registered Nurse certificate from a foreign country, military corpsman certificate, or successful completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Mobile Intensive Care Technician (MICT) training program. Current American Heart Association Heart Health Care Provider Basic Life (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). One (1) year clinical experience.
