With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered many me! dical firsts to the community, including West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women’s Center and the state’s first Retina Center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai‘i that utilizes a team triage approach in its Emergency Room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. For five consecutive years, the American Heart Association has recognized the hospital with its Gold Award for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease and its Gold Plus Award for Heart Failure, making it one of only 7 in the nation to receive this distinction.
The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Tea! m provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broa! d skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. ! Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification, completion of one (1) year of a nursing program, Registered Nurse certificate from a foreign country, military corpsman certificate, or successful completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Mobile Intensive Care Technician (MICT) training program. Current American Heart Association Heart Health Care Provider Basic Life (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). One (1) year clinical experience.
