Medical Surgical unit.
Straub is a complete health care system, which means the
primary care physicians, specialist physicians, clinics and hospital
staff are all part of the same organization. Straub cares for and
comforts patients throughout the state at both the hospital and
clinic locations. Straub offers a network of neighborhood
clinics on Oahu, Lanai, and visiting specialists on the Big Island as
well as the services of nearly 200 physician specialists. At
Straub, the Medical Surgical units offer advanced care including
telemetry monitoring, surgical services including General Surgery,
Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Plastic and ENT
surgery.
The Clinical Assistant assists in performing nursing
care duties and procedures, as well as clerical duties as
assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or
equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification
or completion of one year of a nursing program. Current BLS/HCP
card. One year clinical experience.
Preferred:
Current Hawaii CNA certificate.
One
year clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
