Current vacancy : Responsible for development of the National Family Caregiver Support program, including monitoring, managing, and evaluating contracts, assisting with social planning and coordination, compiling reports and narratives to meet state and federal requirements, and assisting in the implementation of area plan objectives.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in human services, counseling, social work, nursing, psychology, education, sociology or a related field.
Work experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytica! l ability normally gained from attainment of a bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of professional experience in researching, planning, developing, formulating, and/or implementing social or community action projects and programs, including or supplemented by one year of professional experience performing such work in programs for the elderly or in the field of gerontology.
Having the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as qualifying for the position. Your overall experience must have been of such scope, ! level and responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate the ability to ! perform the duties of the position.
Substitution :
A Certificate in Gerontology or a Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or Nursing from an accredited university may be substituted for one year of professional experience including the specialized experience in programs for the elderly or in the field of gerontology.
