Registered Nurse Advanced Oncology / Clinical Trials Unit (ICU)
Shift: Rotator (Day/Evening/Night)
Description: opening a 6 bed Advanced Oncology / inpatient Translational Research Unit for phase 1 and 2 Clinical Trials. This is not a full ICU, but will manage oncology patients that are more acute than the typical Med/Surg Tele Oncology patient.
Additional Requirements Include:
- 1 year ICU RN experience required
- Inpatient oncology experienc! e preferred
- Chemotherapy experience preferred Registered Nurse
As a RN, you will work directly with patients and their families. RNs are the primary point of contact between the patient and the world of health care. RNs perform frequent patient evaluations, including monitoring and tracking vital signs, performing procedures such as IV placement, phlebotomy, and administering medications. You will also develop the day-to-day nursing care plans both in hospital, and for care after discharge by families and visiting nurses.
