This position is located at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Field Office (NCISFO) Hawaii, located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

The Intelligence Specialist will be directly responsible for research, analysis, presentation and publication of Counterintelligence (CI) intelligence analysis in support of Naval Criminal Investiga! tive Service (NCIS) operations and investigations and operations forces in the US Pacific Command area of focus. Member will be responsible for coordinating with Department of Defense (DoD), Asia Pacific Command (ASPACOM) entities, local Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) element, and other Intelligence Community (IC) and Law Enforcement (LE) component to identify priority collection requirements and ensure requirements are transferred into tasking and finished intelligence. Member will be tasked to manage multiple research projects for gathering Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), and Law Enforcement Information to support daily intelligence briefings, defense threat assessments, specific area knowledge briefs, and analytical support to Department of the Navy/Department of Defense (DoN/DoD) leadership.

  • Researching, analyzing and presenting material orally and in writing
  • Coordinating/Liaison with various Department of Defense/Department of the Navy (DoD/DoN) and law enforcement elements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Intelligence Specialist duties . Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Intelligence Specialist duties to include experience with counterintelligence, counterterror! ism, criminal intelligence or cyber intelligence . Specialized experien! ce is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position.

REQUIREMENTS:
All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.

Selectee is required to participate in the Department of Defense direct deposit of pay program.

All new DCIPS employees must successfully complete a two-year trial period.

Selectee must complete a Special Background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication by a determining authority. A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to obtain and maintain this required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal.
