Straub is a complete health care system, which means the primary care physicians, specialist physicians, clinics and hospital staff are all part of the same organization. Straub cares for and comforts patients throughout the state at both the hospital and clinic locations. Straub offers a network of neighborhood clinics on Oahu, Lanai, and visiting specialists on the Big Island as well as the services of nearly 200 physician specialists. The CCIU department specializes in caring for cardiovascular types of patients and a wide variety of other ICU step-down patients. The CCIU aims to provide quality therapeutic nursing care for patients with acute or chronic problems. The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Functions as an associate to a charge nurse and begins to assume charge nurse responsibilities. Hawai‘i Pacific Health is Hawai‘i’s largest health care system including a network of four hospitals, 44 outpatient clinics & service sites, and over 1,300 dedicated physicians across the state. We ar Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawai’i state licensing. Current Hawai’i RN license. Current BLS/HCP card. One year recent registered nurse experience in an acute care setting. Preferred: Two years recent registered nurse experience in CCIU. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Acute hospital experience within previous three years. One year experience in a Critical Care or Telemetry Unit. Proficiency in reading and interpreting EKG strips.
