The Clinical Assistant assists in performing nursing care duties and procedures as well as clerical duties as assigned. The NICU at KapiÂ'olani is dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive, and family-oriented care for all patients with a goal to optimize health and well-being. The NICU provides
continuous acute care to neonates whilst serving the complex psychosocial needs of both the neonate and their family. Services are provided to premature and full-term newborn
infants with cardiovascular and/or respiratory disease, and infants requiring treatments for various diagnoses including infection and surgery.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification or completion of one year of a nursing program. Current BLS/HCP
card. One year clinical experience.
Preferred:
Current HawaiÂ'i CNA certificate. One year clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
