Sodexo is seeking an evening EVS Operations Manager to come join Queen's Medical Center, a 533-bed acute care trauma center for the Pacific Rim. The medical center combines it's Hawaiian royalty heritage with state of the art medicine. Queen's Medical Center is the first and only hospital to receive Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, The Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, a National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Center (one of only 30 in the US) and the only Liver and Kidney Transplant Center in the state of Hawaii. EVS supports all aspects of housekeeping service within the facility, including cleaning of ORs. The hospital supports three surrounding medical office buildings with Environmental Services needs as well. This position will report to the General Manager of Environmental Services. Position will participate in numerous hospital committees and work closely in multidisciplinary team setting.

This is an evening shift position. Must be able to work 2:00 pm to midnight shift.

Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling hourly employees while maintaining customer, client, and employee engagement, as well as good public relations. This manager will provide direct and indirect oversight to approximately 40-50 Full-Time Equivalent employees (FTEs) and will report to the General Manager. This is an evening shift position. Ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, previous experience in custodial/housekeeping in a hospital. Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
