Undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Specific priorities of need include advanced medical-surgical, community health, global health, public health nursing, pediatrics, and advanced practice nursing (clinical nurse specialist or nurse practitioner).
Instructor Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing.
Assistant Professor Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
Prior teaching experience at the rank of Instructor or equivalent.
Demonstrated scholarly achievement.
Instructor Desirable Qualifications
Ability to work well with students, faculty and agencies affiliated with the Department of Nursing.
Prior teaching experience.
Course work in curriculum development & evaluation.
Certification or eligibility for certification in advanced practice.
Assistant Professor Desirable Qualifications
Doctorate in Nursing.
Course work in curriculum development & evaluation.
Certification or eligibility for certification in advanced practice.
Publication in refereed journals.
Ability to work well with students, faculty and agencies affiliated with the Department of Nursing.
