Wilcox Memorial Hospital
and
Kauai Medical Clinic comprise the Wilcox Health System. As the largest and only integrated health care delivery system on Kauai, Wilcox serves approximately 70 percent of the island.
At Wilcox Memorial Hospital, the Medical Surgical units are designed for patients who, because of the nature of their state of health, need to be admitted for acute nursing intervention for 24 hours or more. The patient may be admitted as a direct admit, transferred from Emergency Department and/or scheduled as a surgical admission.
The Clinical Assistant performs various patient care activities and related non-professional
services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients as well as variety of clerical and reception duties for the nursing unit.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification or completion of one year of a nursing program. Current BLS/HCP card. One year clinical experience.
Preferred:
Current HawaiÂ'i CNA certificate. One year
clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
