POSITION SUMMARY: The House Supervisor is a registered professional nurse responsible for coordinating and supporting hospital-wide clinical and educational services during "non-business" hours as the highest administrative associate in-house, communicating appropriately with the Administrator on call and other Leadership.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: Has demonstrated leadership ability in the acute care setting as staff nurse or charge nurse. Demonstrates interest in and knowledge of current trends and new developments in clinical nursing and healthcare administration. Able to interpret policies with analytical and practical application. Ability to generate enthusiasm and cooperation from others as part of the leadership of CMC. Genuine interest in and respect for people with a desire to be of service to them. Basic computer knowledge and skill in the u! se of Microsoft Windows application.
REQUIRED CERTIFICA! TION / REGISTRATION: Current RN licensure in the State of Hawaii; current ACLS certification; BLS/C biennially.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years current clinical experiences in acute care setting.
